HI There, Congratulations on your new home. I have been following your time line. I have a land at Alex Avenue Schofields. I was registered September as well. My plan was sent to Blacktown Council 2 weeks ago. My builder Bellmarch is anticipating to start construction end of Jan. Your builder well ahead compared to mine. All the best.

      Hi Alex,
Thanks for following the blog and your kind words.
Even though our land registered in September, we had already started looking for a house plan when we put a deposit on the land in May. Thats why we are already in construction phase.
Most tradies have a holiday from around mid Dec to mid Jan. So I anticipate when the tradies come back after their break, your builder will be ready to commence construction and it will be all systems go ! Also, the council might take a month or two to decide on the submission. I don’t know how long Blacktown takes because we went CDC, not Council DA.
Wishing you good luck for your build !
