Waterproofing & wet area tiling (Post #17)

The blue one above is first stage, which is done after frames are up. This basically covers all ‘edges’ and drain inlets.

The grey one below is the second stage which is done after gyprock is up.
This covers all new edges which are formed after gyprocking, as well as any gyprock joints.

This is the MINIMUM standard which Clarendon will do.

BUT, this is your almost quarter/half a million dollar investment (even more for some). Why would you think the company would skimp on a few dollars ??
After all, the one biggest enemy of any structure is WATER, both inside and outside !

So, we contacted our supervisor and after much letting him know that we weren’t happy, he actually got he waterproofers back and had the whole tiled area done ! Kudos to him.
